Before Rent was born from a simple frustration: too many tenants discover serious property issues only after signing a lease. Flooding, power outages, water shortages, and unresponsive landlords are common complaints that could be avoided with better information. We created Before Rent to be the platform we wished existed when we were searching for our first apartments.
